The Election Commission was appointed by the Boulder County District Court on May 21, 2026 under C.R.S. § 31-2-209 to administer the November 3, 2026 incorporation and charter commission election. The Commission takes no position on whether Niwot should incorporate.

The Commission is a separate body from the Niwot Incorporation Committee. Material published by the Committee at niwot.town is not published by, reviewed by, or attributable to the Commission.
