Meetings of the Election Commission are open to the public for observation. Business before the Commission this cycle is the certification of ballot content for transmittal to the Boulder County Clerk and Recorder, and the compilation of the written comments for and against the fiscal ballot issues.

Revised Summaries of Comments for the TABOR Notice — 8:30 a.m., Niwot Hall.
Review and approve revisions to the summaries of written comments against the five fiscal ballot issues, incorporating further comments filed with the Commission. The finished notice for each issue goes to the Boulder County Clerk and Recorder by 4:00 p.m. the same day.

Summaries of Comments for the TABOR Notice — 12:00 p.m., Niwot Inn.
Compile the summaries of written comments against the five fiscal ballot issues for the notice mailed to every registered elector under Article X, Section 20 of the Colorado Constitution. Written comments close at noon the same day. The summaries in favor are written by the representatives of the incorporation petition, not by the Commission.
Minutes are posted once the Commission has approved them at a subsequent meeting.

Intergovernmental Agreement and Draft Ballot Content — 12:00 p.m., Niwot Hall.
Review the draft Intergovernmental Agreement with Boulder County, the progress of candidate petitions, and the preparation of ballot content.
Candidate Petition and Notice of Election — 12:00 p.m., Niwot Hall.
Approve the charter commission candidate petition and instructions, set the petition availability and filing dates, and designate the newspaper of legal publication.
First Convening and Call of the Election — 12:00 – 1:00 p.m., Niwot Hall.
The Commission convened for the first time and formally called the incorporation and charter commission elections for November 3, 2026.
